A sketch for a collage. I hope I will make it later, but the rest of this week holds no time for it. I won't worry about it, though ;)

If only I could post smell ...
- I would ask you to smell these. Rosemary, sage, three different kinds of peppermint, lavender and curry plant. I bury my nose in them and breathe in :)
More on my food blog - I hope to see you there. (The amazing weather we have here calls for outdoor activity, so pen, paper and alikes take a slumber these days).

May 17th
As some of you might know, I like to cook. I don't have any formal training or anything, I just like it for the fun, relaxation and savour. Yesterday I started a food-blog; Christine's Kitchen. It doesn't look much yet, but I hope to fill it up with recipes and food ideas, tips, and lots of photos. Feel free to take a peek:))
And todays Diary doodle (somewhat inspired by yesterdays preoccupation:)

Childhood on a string
I found a pile of hønseringe at today's local fleemarked. Did you have these when you were a child? What did you call them?
We collected and swapped them. The S'es, C's and 8's were among the most common – I had completely forgotten about the skeletons, the locks, the owls and the keys. How I loved them.
I have an idea for an illustration with them, and some might also make a nice pair of earrings. Or maybe one of you guys would be up for a swap ;-)
Hard afternoon light and shadow on the balcony.

Old stuff
I went over some old cds last night, and stumbled across old illos that never made it pass the printer. This is one of them.
I made a little series back then, some of them were printet as free-cards and distributed on cafées in Copenhagen. Maybe I will post them later. Or make some new ones:)
Thank you for the kind words and sunny wishes yesterday. I had a great, relaxing day. Hope you did too:)

The actual weather forecast from last night. Feels like summer:)
Gracia Haby has a really beautiful blog - she makes wonderful collages:)
Inspired by Mansuetudes thoughts today, I want to share a slice of my day;) Today, I visited my old school (for the first time since I graduated) and it was an extremely powerful experience. You know that movie-trick when the camera zooms in as the camerawagon is pulled back fast? It's usually during a portrait scene and feels like -woouuscchh-. Looking into my old class rooms, I felt like that. Everything came roaring at me - sounds, voices, smells, feelings, moods -- and walking on, eyes off the room, it was gone. Breathtaking.
