Christmas Greetings // Årets julekort

Every year I strive to make a Christmas 'Card' that will spread a bit of joy and colour, and this year, it'sa da flowers. Each one unique and made by yours truly, packed in a cardboard box, and shipped by Santa. Okay, last one not entirely true.

Here, you can see a few of the crepe buddies, and this post also serves as a ... usability service for the receivers ;-)

Påskeeksperimenter // Experimenting Easter Part II

Jeg prøvede at indfarve tefiltre den anden dag. Det tynde stoflige papir suger farven op så det giver et lille forløb. I fin kontrast til den fede gennemfarvede italienske crepe og silkepapiret. 

...

Had a little experiment going the other day, dyeing tea filters with watercolor. The fabric-like filters draw the color up, making a little gradient. Creating a wonderful contrast to the thick, solid-colored crepe and tissue paper.

Poppies

Min akutte besættelse af papirblomster bød mig at trawle nettet igennem i aftes – efter naturens egne eksemplarer som jeg kan omsætte til papirversioner. Jeg fandt dette vidunderligt smukke billede på et af mine Pinterest-boards, og det kom der disse små gutter ud af. Hurtige, og enkle at lave, med klip fra gamle bøger og papirrester.

My current obsession with paper flowers had me trawling the internet last night, for natural specimens suitable for making paper versions. I found this amazingly gorgeous image on one of my Pinterest boards, and made these today. Tiny versions of poppies, with at dash of emphera.
