Thank you so much for your comment on Fig, Newton! I have a Wacom tablet (crucial) & work in lots of layers-- it kills my computer but it's fun.
We seem to have a lot in common-- I'm crazy about diagrams & spiky botanical curiosities. I'm guessing the bottom one is some variety of horse-chestnut? I've never seen one quite like it though.
I lived in Copenhagen when I was nine-- my Dad was on a post-doc. I attended a Danish school, but sad to say I've forgotten nearly every word I learned in Danish.
I like to collect things like this too. But sometimes I found them after weeks in my pockets...
