Working. Listening to music (Macklemore & Ryan Lewis::Same Love). More music (i monster::Heaven). Seeing Tara Donovan on Louisiana. Watching Cloud Atlas (Loving it). Loving the Music (Cloud Atlas::Sextet). Reading the book, and loving this too. Savouring morning coffees (image below). And working some more. But not much blogging ...

What A Wonderful Workshop Day!
A huge thank you Rikke, Elsebeth, Mette, Susanne, Tina and Anne!
Today, Pernille and I had the pleasure of these ladies' wonderful, inspiring company on our very first Collage Workshop.
Here a few images from the day.
We also did a little "live-blogging" on fb ;-)
Next collage workshop will be on Saturday April 6th. It is fully booked, but we have a waiting list; should you be interested to put your name on this, you can send me an email here. Thank you :)

Sunday Pursuits
Two of the necklaces are from HipZen, by Birgitte Nørgaard. The white glass bead is from a friend, and the necklace with the egyptian eye pendant I made today with smoke quartz beads and a pendant from Sinai.
These green and earthy tones are among my favorite colors

We also spun a basket of wool for the titmice on the balcony today. I hope it will be as great a success as last year, and make many a nest warm and cozy :)

Arts & Crafts Fair
Yesterday my mom and I went to the first Arts & Crafts Fair held in Copenhagen. Copenhagen holds many fairs of many kinds, from reptile fairs to book fairs, baby fairs and spiritual fairs, to fashion and food. It's always fun to meet and see kindred spirits, and there is always much inspiration to be found.
This fair held much for many a crafter's joy - jewelry, horn, sewing, patchwork, paper craft, glass work, embroidery, felt, leather and... yarn. And I admit - it was in this department my heartbeat reached volume yesterday :-)
Between quite a few yarn stores one in particular stood out to us: Bente Geil's Geilsk. She has her own yarn brand which she sells worldwide, and runs an online store: geilsk.dk
Bente Geil (above here) and her assistant (third picture down) were so sweet, talkative and helpful, and her yarn was of such a delicate quality - both the wool, tweed and cotton. At a very fair price too.
My mom went home with not one, not two, but three projects bought from these great ladies :)
Both of us with a grand experience! Thank you for this.
(Why I didn't buy anything? Because of this. I have my hands full for now :-) But I will most certainly be returning to Mrs. Geil!
...
We savoured more yarn dellies; at Kirsten's Sy og Strik
...a sweet idea from Nørkleriet,
and a beautiful children's dress pattern from Karen Noe.
...
Once back, I discovered that I had mostly shot pictures of yarn. What the heart is full off ... well apparently so is the camera ;o)
One of few images that wasn't yarn was of this lady: Frk. Svendsen, and her collage workshop. Wild and funny stuff :-) Frk. Svendsen website here.
All in all a good fair. A fair fair, hadn't it been for our meet with Geilsk. So glad we did!

Hemslöjd Magazine
Got my first issue of Hemslöjd (Swedish magazine for Arts and Crafts) See more from the magazine here :-) The layout is beautiful, and the magazine is printet on rough uncoated paper. (And the smell -- I luuuv the smell of fresh ink ;o)
Jenn Grant - Eye Of The Tiger. I really like her music. Favorite track is Paradise Mountain from her 2011 album: Honeymoon Punch. I could only find a cover version on You Tube, but If you're on Spotify, do listen to this :-)

B&W
I found these trying to find something else on the computer the other day. From a project that stranded a few years back. Maybe I can use them for something else some day. Made with old lead letters.

The Polar Bears in Copenhagen Zoo has got a new facility, and here are some very beautiful photos of them. As the zoo keeper says in the video, the Polar Bears were puzzled by the presence of humans below them, and tried to reach them :-) Be sure to press »Fuld skærm« (full screen) to savour the images. Almost hard to grasp that these cuddly creatures are among some of the most dangerous.

Knit One - Purl One
I've been longing for at new knitting project for a while, and after lots of surfin' and considerin' a choice was made. Helga Isager's Oak is in a collection from 2008, I think. It's a long vest knitted with three strings of Isager wool. The vest is made in one piece, and is pattern from bottom to top, so I won't be much of a conversationist knitting this one :-) Which is also the reason I think it will take me a while!
Good thing there's no rush ;-)
Helga Isager is one of my favorite knitting designers. She brings knits to a whole new level, with her beautiful designs and patterns. You can see her new collection here. And more knits here.
