In Black & White

I'm working on some ink illus for a project these days. I can't show you yet, but I want to show you one in the same style, that I did for a book cover last year. It's H.C Andersen—do you know him? He's our countrys National Poet (or one of them :-)
The cover turned out completely different. So now this is a drawing-in-a-drawer. (I bet there are a lot of those world-wide. I have a few myself :-).
A gem of a book. And super-cool posters.

  1. ser fram emot att få se vad du jobbar med. H.C. är så känsligt gjord, han känns nästan lite skör.

  2. ha I love your ink drawing and the way his mind is left open!

    The rubber ducky??? Hm.

Never heard of him, here. Odd how we get local knowledge of what is "known".

I love so much that little book, it is so clever.

  3. :-))
maybe you do know him, M. The Uckly Duckling, The Little Mermaid, Princess on the Pea. Is it a local world afterall?? :-) I hope so. And not. (It's late ;-)

  4. Wow, this is so fantastic. I love it. Definitely one to save.

  5. Hi Christine, I´m so late with this comment, but this is amazing! I loved this illustration! great project and tell us more!

  6. Uau! Very very nice!

I like ink works... (my english sucks! Terrible! I can not expressive myself as i Wanted to.. :-/, but i like your works!)
