I like to collect things like this too. But sometimes I found them after weeks in my pockets...
me too--some of my friends like to steal them from me... spikey thing--i have a tree in my yard that drops billions of those every other year, step on one, it HURTS>
Lovely collection. Like the brown drawing under them.
Christine... you always find cool stuff during your walk!!I am giving you the Love You Award on my blog! :)
Hello!Just to let you know that your blog is an inspiration for me, thank you for sharing!
nice collection. do you know what the wild one at the bottom is? i have one but i have never been able to find out what kind of plant it comes from.
No, sorry, I don't know what they are called. I absolutely love them, though. They are so wild:))
Thank you so much for your comment on Fig, Newton! I have a Wacom tablet (crucial) & work in lots of layers-- it kills my computer but it's fun. We seem to have a lot in common-- I'm crazy about diagrams & spiky botanical curiosities. I'm guessing the bottom one is some variety of horse-chestnut? I've never seen one quite like it though. I lived in Copenhagen when I was nine-- my Dad was on a post-doc. I attended a Danish school, but sad to say I've forgotten nearly every word I learned in Danish.
